Brock Boeser

The next player comes with risk but if the Los Angeles Kings want a goal-scorer, then Brock Boeser might be the best option in free agency. In the 2023-24 season, Boeser had a breakout season with 40 goals but took a step backwards this season with only 25 goals.

However, the question is whether the regression was because of the player or the fact that the Vancouver Canucks were a mess for most of the season with the J.T. Miller drama. It is hard to imagine that everything going on around that didn't have an impact on the players on the ice.

Boeser is still in the prime of his career at 27 years old and the Kings know him well with him playing on a division rival. He has played in 23 games against the Kings in his career and has an impressive 17 goals and six assists to average a point per game.
