Los Angeles Kings get their second straight overtime win
The Los Angeles Kings started the season with five straight overtime losses, and this was something that was an issue dating back to last season. However, they got their first overtime win of the season at the start of their homestand against the Edmonton Oilers and follow it up with another overtime win in their first game of their road trip against the Winnipeg Jets.
The race in the Pacific Division is shaping up to be very competitive and the more of these overtime wins the Kings can get, and more importantly getting two points instead of one, is going to help them close the gap with the Oilers and even the Golden Knights.
There won't be much celebrating this win as the Los Angeles Kings have a quick turnaround with a game tomorrow night against the Calgary Flames.
