David Rittich excellent in net for the Los Angeles Kings

The reason the Kings were in this game for most of the night was due in large part to David Rittich, who had his best performance in about a month. He would finish the game by stopping 30 of 32 shots by the Lightning and allowing only that one goal in the first period before one late in the third period.

For most of the game, the Los Angeles Kings were in reach as they were down only one and that is due in large part to Rittich. He would make some incredible saves, like the one below.

The Kings have not needed Rittich much since Darcy Kuemper returned from injured reserve in December. Even though the Kings didn't get the win, they certainly looked more competitive and that was due in large part to the goaltender.
