Jordan Spence

Where the Buffalo Sabres probably need the most help is on defense and the Los Angeles Kings can offer two players that might be good fits. The first would be Jordan Spence, who was a fourth round pick by the Kings in the 2019 NHL Draft.

He has been a key part of the Kings roster the past two seasons after playing 71 games last year and appearing in 52 this season. With the injury to Drew Doughty during the preseason, Spence has seen his ice time increase significantly from 14:26 last season to almost 18 minutes this year.

The Buffalo Sabres certainly could be interested in a player like Spence as they already have young left defensemen like Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power. By adding a right defenseman to this group would give the team a young group that can be the foundation of that defense.
