The NHL Trade Deadline is quickly approaching and for the Los Angeles Kings they should be looking at ways to improve the roster. The question for general manager Rob Blake is how he wants to go about doing that.

The Kings right now are sitting in the middle of the Western Conference, they currently are in the playoffs if the season ends today but they don't look like a true Stanley Cup contender. They certainly have top tier guys like Adrian Kempe, and Anze Kopitar as well as a returning Drew Doughty while Darcy Kuemper is playing like one of the best goalies in all of hockey.

However, the Kings definitely could use a boost among the forwards with Kempe being the only player currently with 20+ goals. It would be costly but there are a few players that could be potentially available that could get this team from being a decent playoff team to one of the top contenders for a Stanley Cup.
