It was a huge offensive boost of confidence and momentum to get a mauling of a 6-0 shutout dominant win for the Los Angeles Kings over the Chicago Blackhawks on home ice this fall over the weekend on Saturday night. The Kings scored more goals on home ice early this regular season this fall, posting a whopping six goals in the win over the Blackhawks, than the team has in any other game.

Brandt Clarke has emerged offensively this regular season for the Los Angeles Kings on home ice

Hiller and the Kings had some bad games in the West in the Pacific Division in this past couple of weeks in late November and early December. Offensive production was not working for the Kings in the game's first two periods in this past couple of weeks in the West.

If the Kings can keep winning with impressive performances playing and producing in the offensive zone, this team will be showing what they can do on the in the Pacific Division this regular season.

Here are three scalding hot Kings' players who have been very productive for the team and Hiller on home ice at Crypto Arena early this regular season in the past couple of months.

Brandt Clarke, D

It was a big deal for the Kings to get defenseman Brandt Clarke and forwards Andrei Kuzmenko and Alex Turcotte going on the stat sheet and on home ice this past weekend against the Blackhawks on Saturday. Clarke registered the first multi-goal game of this regular season for the Kings from a defenseman this fall.

Clarke has seen his ice time steadily rise this fall as he's proven his production on the ice on the blue line on defense for the Kings and Hiller. In 10 of the past 11 games for the Kings in the West, Clarke has played over 20 minutes in ice time for the Kings' blue line.

This was something that Kings fans were waiting for to see Clarke have a major impacted game on the offensive zone for the team in a high-scoring contest this fall.

Not only did Clarke become the first Kings' player this regular season this fall yesterday vs. Chicago to register multiple goals, a hit, and a blocked shot in a single game, but he also matched his season-high total in goal scoring yesterday for the team from the 2024-25 campaign.

Darcy Kuemper, G

I think Kuemper has been the team's MVP arguably over the past month or so in the West in between the pipes for LA. It was probably either forward Corey Perry or star winger Adrian Kempe who was the team's MVP in the first month of the regular season this fall in October in early November this past month in the West.

But Kuemper has been really quietly effective without getting enough credit for what he's done, posting multiple shutouts and playing at a top-caliber goalie level in net for the Kings this fall for the team.

"This was collectively, even the guys that didn't score tonight. I think we all took a step tonight. We were all happy for each other on the bench. We all wanted to see each other do well, and it was a fall 20-man effort tonight that got the job done. Shout out to Darcy, too. I think that's the most undercover effective shutout you'll ever see."

Warren Foegele, LW

In the dominant 6-0 win over the Blackhawks yesterday from Chicago at Crypto Arena, winger Warren Foegele scored the eventual game-winning goal for the Kings and Hiller at a crucial time in the middle frame in the second period.

When the Kings needed an offensive outburst the most in the game's second period yesterday against the Blackhawks on home ice at Crypto Arena, Foegele delivered a crucial goal to give the team momentum on the ice and on the scoreboard vs. Chicago last night.

Foegele has registered at least one point in the Kings' past two winson home ice at Crypto Arena in the West against the Blackhawks from Chicago yesterday and the Ottawa Senators in a regulation win this past month in late November on Nov. 24.
