Concern: They allowed five goals in a little over one period of play

While the LA Kings did get the win on Monday night, it is hard to feel great about it considering they almost blew a four goal lead in roughly one period of play. The first goal came with around five seconds left in the second period and the second goal for the Oilers just over two minutes into the third.

The Kings did a good job bouncing back as Kevin Fiala answered and got them back to a three goal lead. However, the Oilers would score the next three goals, including two in about 30 seconds late in the game.

Earlier in the game, the Los Angeles Kings did a great job of playing their type of hockey and controlling the pace. This is the playoffs and no team is ever out of it but what will carry over, if anything, to Game 2?

Whoever scores first on Wednesday night should be able to take control of the momentum and put themselves in a good spot for the win.
