There are multiple relevant connections that Woodcroft has with Holland for the Kings this upcoming offseason. Woodcroft is already familiar with the Pacific Division after helping run the Anaheim Ducks power play and working with the organization’s younger offensive talent.

Woodcroft has been a successful head coach in this past few years with the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division. He found significant success during his time with the Edmonton Oilers, winning more than 60 percent of his games as head coach and guiding the team to a 50-win season in 2022-23.

There have not yet been concrete reports linking Woodcroft to the Kings’ coaching search, but the organizational connections make him a logical candidate to monitor.
