The game last night against the Columbus Blue Jackets is tough because of the fact that the Los Angeles Kings looked like the better team for most of the game. The Blue Jackets deserve credit because they made the most of their opportunities but the Kings really controlled a lot of the night.
When looking back at the game, these were three players in particular who had good games and stood out for the Los Angeles Kings.
3 Los Angeles Kings who stood out against the Columbus Blue Jackets
Phillip Danault
Phillip Danault would end up scoring the first goal of the game and was also his first goal since the middle of December. He is not known for his goal scoring but the production in this part of his game is noticable down over previous seasons with the Kings.
However, the goal wasn't the only reason for him making this list as he did a good job in the faceoff circle and would win 10 out of his 14 faceoffs against the Blue Jackets. That was the reason he was able to get his goal as he won the faceoff and was able to score off a rebound on Kevin Fiala's shot.
