The LA Kings are reportedly looking for a top six scoring forward to boost the active roster lineup on the top forward lines group this regular season in the front office.

With the trade deadline approaching in a little under two months from now this month in late January this regular season in the West for the Los Angeles Kings and Jim Hiller, there are some possible trade deadline targets on the block for the team that are heating up in recent weeks in various rumors and social media discussions.

Which Los Angeles Kings forwards in the top-nine forward lines core group could be dealt on the block at the deadline in a trade this regular season?

Since the Kings have won three straight games in the West in the Pacific Division in late January this month this regular season, new general manager Ken Holland will probably be driven to possibly make more moves on the block at the trade deadline for one last push in the standings.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Holland and the Kings make a move at the deadline on the block to trade for help with a top-six scoring forward to add more scoring offensively this regular season in the West.

The timeline for making trades before the deadline this regular season in the West in the Pacific Division is speeding up this spring on the block. The Winter Olympics on coming up in this next couple of weeks, and multiple big moves in the Pacific Division in the West were already made late this month in late January for LA foes.

Here are the three Kings' players who could be the most likely to be dealt at the trade deadline on the block for Holland and the LA front office this regular season in the West.

Alex Turcotte, C

If the Kings want to make some important trades in the West to get more help scoring the puck offensively this regular season, it would help the team win more immediately in the Pacific Division this upcoming spring for the postseason in 2026. Getting a top-six center or a quality top-six offensive scoring winger would cost a lot for the Kings and Holland this regular season in the West.

A possible trade asset for Holland and the Kings this regular season in the West if they decide to make a move to trade for a top-six scoring forward offensively before the deadline on the block, young center Alex Turcotte could be a hypothetical trade chip for the LA front office this year.

I personally don't agree with the idea that the Kings should trade Turcotte from the active forward lines core this regular season on the block in the West. Turcotte has shown plenty of promise and two-way contributions on the ice this regular season in the West for Hiller and the Kings.

Trevor Moore, W

While I don't want to see young winger Trevor Moore go this regular season in the West for Hiller and the Kings this spring on the block, he could be the most tradeable asset this regular season for the front office on the deadline trade market.

There is a good chance that Moore would be the most likely young forward in the West to be traded in a possible hypothetical deadline deal on the block for Holland and the Kings' front office fro the active forward lines group for the team.

The Kings need help scoring the puck offensively this regular season as soon as possible. It might come at the cost of the Kings going for a short-term rental player to help offensively this regular season in the West.

Warren Foegele, W

It's hard to know if it's worth for the Kings trading key players on the active forward lines core group this regular season while the team is playing much better in the West in the Pacific Division in the last week or so on the road.

The Kings got winger Warren Foegele back in the active roster lineup this past Tuesday night (Jan. 27) on the road on this East road trip in the Atlantic Division vs. Detroit at Little Caesars Arena. Foegele helped generate some scoring chances and opportunities in the offensive zone to score the puck vs. the Red Wings on Tuesday night in Detroit.

Foegele is part of a group of forwards in the active roster lineup for the Kings this regular season that have underperformed the fall expectations from this past preseason in the 2025-26 campaign. He hasn't really looked like himself for Hiller and the Kings this regular season in the past couple of months offensively for the active forward lines core group.
