Cody Ceci

Ken Holland would sign Cody Ceci as a free agent in 2021 and he would play three seasons in Edmonton. He would be traded prior to this season to the San Jose Sharks and then the Sharks would trade him to the Dallas Stars.

Ceci would end up seeing his season end by his former team, as the Dallas Stars would be knocked out of the playoffs by the Edmonton Oilers. For his career, Ceci has played in 871 regular-season games and another 106 playoff games.

The Kings could have some needs this offseason for their defense, depending on what happens with Vladislav Gavrikov and if they make any trades that might include Jordan Spence.

While it isn't the best idea, especially after Ceci's recent struggles in the playoffs with a +/- of -16 over the past three years, it is an idea Holland and the Kings might consider based on the history.
