There's little to no doubt in my mind that veteran winger Corey Perry is easily the most villainized player on the Kings' roster going into this upcoming season. Perry has made enemies at every turn and for every different team he's played for in the NHL in the last couple of decades.
Known for his cheap shots, agitator persona, and his ability to consistently reach postseason success, Perry is hated by multiple opposing players and fans for a wide array of different reasons.
This is probably the most interesting placement on this list because Perry was a huge villain for the Kings for so many years in the Western Conference. And now he's playing for the Kings for the second time in as many years, coming out of free agency in the summer.
It hasn't really mattered where Perry played, he manages to rile up opposing team's players and fans consistently.
This dynamic between the Kings and Perry is best characterized by the fact that he was recently named by The Athletic as the "biggest on-ice villain" in the Kings' franchise history in Los Angeles.
