Tyler Bertuzzi

The Chicago Blackhawks signed Tyler Bertuzzi to a four-year contract this past offseason as a free agent but they could already be looking to move him. In 49 games this season, Bertuzzi has 17 goals and 11 assists and is on pace to be close to matching his career-high in goals, which was 30 during the 2021-22 season.

For the Kings, Bertuzzi would be a great addition to the power play unit and is something they should be focused on improving. The Kings rank near the bottom of the league in power play percentage and power play goals and Bertuzzi could help as he already has eight power play goals on the season.

If the Kings were to try and get a deal done for Tyler Bertuzzi, they would probably want the Blackhawks to retain some of the salary. It is hard to imagine that the Blackhawks would want to do that on a four-year contract and could be the biggest hurdle in a trade.
