The Los Angeles Kings head into a unique offseason where their two biggest acquisitions at the trade deadline are now unrestricted free agents. What particularly puts them in a delicate situation is that both of those players filled their two biggest needs on the roster, and now those needs are ever noticeable once again.

Vladislav Gavrikov and Joonas Korpisalo would both be welcomed back with open arms, I believe. But, the issue for the LA Kings right now is their lack of cap space. If the cap does go up to $83,500,000 like it is projected to, then that provides a little more breathing room. And Dion Phaneuf’s buyout finally comes off the books.

But, the to-do list for Rob Blake continues to remain hefty. For example, re-signing a restricted free agent like Gabriel Vilardi or even Vladislav Gavrikov are two very important things to address if you’re Rob Blake. Thankfully guys like Kevin Fiala, Adrian Kempe, and Phillip Danault are locked up through next season, so his focus can be shifted more towards areas like left-handed defenseman and goaltender.

With that being said, here is a list of potential goalie targets Rink Royalty would love to see him consider.
