LA Kings Draft: Oskar Olausson 2021 NHL Draft Prospect Profile

A real sniper, Oskar Olausson can score in bunches. This past season, the versatile winger played for the HV71 J20 team, scoring 14 goals and 27 points in just 16 games. He was recalled to the SHL club in late November, scoring goals in three straight games.
Olausson was held scoreless over his next 12 games, including four games for Team Sweden at the World Juniors, and was loaned to Södertälje of HockeyAllsvenskan. There, he tallied 6 points in 11 games before closing out the final two games with HV71.
The Stockholm, Sweden native possesses a combination of size and speed. He’s got a knack for finding the back of the net. Olausson can create his own shot or support the odd-man rush to collect rebounds for excellent scoring chances.
The LA Kings are no stranger to Swedish forwards, and Oskar Olausson presents a unique combination of speed and a wicked wrist shot.
