Another player who developed under John Wroblewski, Chaz Lucius would give the LA Kings yet another talented center in the prospect pool.
If the LA Kings prefer the best player available route with their first-round pick, Chaz Lucius would be an excellent pick. The Grant, Minnesota native, is headed to the University of Minnesota next season to play with Brock Faber.
Lucius missed all of 12 games for the USNTDP due to a lower-body injury. He returned with a two-goal effort in a 5-4 victory over the Chicago Steel and would go onto score five goals in his first four games. The 18-year-old tallied a hat trick in a 7-6 losing effort at the end of March.
