Michael Amadio’s time with the LA Kings has come to an end.

On Monday afternoon the LA Kings pulled off their second trade in 72 hours by acquiring defenseman Christian Wolanin from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for center Michael Amadio.

The twenty-six-year-old Wolanin has been in the Ottawa Senators organization for four seasons after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 draft out of the University of North Dakota. This season, Wolanin has played 15 games for the Ottawa Senators totaling zero goals and three assists while compiling a +/- of -7. He has also played one game for the Senators AHL affiliate in Belleville. Wolanin will become a restricted free agent at the end of this season.

Amadio became expendable for the LA Kings after he cleared waivers last week and was assigned to the Ontario Reign of the AHL. The twenty-four-year-old center had no goals and two assists in twenty games played this season for the LA Kings.

Wolanin will be assigned to the Ontario Reign by the LA Kings. More to come on this.
