Earlier this month, USA Hockey announced the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2015 which includes a former Los Angeles King.

With that in mind, which player on LA’s active roster would you like to see in the Hall of Fame? It can be the United States Hockey Hall of Fame, the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, or maybe your personal Hall of Fame-the decision is yours.

Here, in no particular order, are our top five picks from the active roster who seem to be Hall of Fame worthy in their own right.

Good ol’ Captain Brown. He ranked 3rd in the league for games played last season: 82. He has 11 goals attributed to his name with 16 assists for a total of 27 points. In those 82 games, Brownie racked up 26 penalty minutes and three game winning goals. In his NHL career, he has played a grand total of 802 regular season games with 207 goals and 235 assists with 544 penalty minutes.

2. Jeff Carter (Center)

Hi there, Mr. Carter! Like Brownie, he ranked 3rd in the league for playing a total of 82 games last season. He ranked 20th for having 28 goals to his name and 60th for his 34 assists. He also took on 28 penalty minutes. In his professional career, Carter has a total of 718 games with 283 goals, 239 assists and 392 penalty minutes for regular season games.

3. Anze Kopitar (Center)

Kope! Kope is a beast, even though sometimes it looks like he feels like hibernating instead of dominating on the ice. Last season he ranked 165th for having played a total of 79 games, 130th for his 16 goals and 9th for 48 assists. Surprisingly, Kope only had 10 penalty minutes last season. Looking at his NHL career, Kope has played 683 games, has scored 218 goals and has 392 assists and a mere 184 penalty minutes during the regular season. Here’s to his contract being settled soon.

4. Drew Doughty (Defenseman)

Dreeeew! How can you not love this man? Like Carter and Brownie, Doughty was ranked 3rd for having played 82 games last season. Unfortunately, he only has 7 goals attributed to his name and 39 assists with 56 penalty minutes. His career regular season stats total 524 games played, 66 goals, 201 assists, and 403 penalty minutes.

5. Jonathan Quick (Goaltender)

Quick, Quick, Quick. Last season he totaled 4,184 minutes in the net, leaving him ranked 2nd in the league. With 1,896 shots against him, Quick saved 1,740 of them leaving him ranked 6th for shots again and shots saved in the league. He has a 0.918 save percentage and finished the season with 36 wins and a combined total of 35 losses. Looking at his NHL career, Quick has played 407 games for a total of 23,806 minutes in the net with 212 wins.
