It’s here! It’s here!
It’s the 2015 Stadium Series outdoor game! Bringing outdoor hockey back to Cali!
This isn’t just fun and games either. There’s a lot riding on this outdoor game. Even the architects and producers couldn’t have written a script like this.
The Los Angeles Kings will try to continue their six-game win streak.
In their most recent meeting on January 21st the Kings lost to the Sharks 4-2 at SAP Center. In the three games played between the two teams the Kings are 1-2-0 this season.
It’s been a back-and-forth series between the California rivals. San Jose won first in the opening game of the year. The Kings answered back at the end of December, then it was the Sharks at home edging L.A. out.
Now it’s the Kings turn.
Los Angeles Kings
According to L.A. Kings Insider Jon Rosen the Kings expected lineup is as follows:
Forwards:
Marian Gaborik – Anze Kopitar – Dustin Brown
Dwight King – Jeff Carter – Tyler Toffoli
Trevor Lewis – Jarret Stoll – Justin Williams
Kyle Clifford – Nick Shore – Jordan Nolan
Defensemen:
Robyn Regehr – Drew Doughty
Jake Muzzin – Matt Greene
Brayden McNabb – Jamie McBain
Goaltenders:
Jonathan Quick
Martin Jones
Both teams need 2 points to keep their heads above water in this desperate playoff race. If history tells us anything the Kings know when to step it up in situations like this. Especially against the Sharks.
Puck-drop is in half an hour!
This is one you won’t want to miss!
Go Kings Go!
