Los Angeles Kings Stadium Series Lead-up Show Premiers Tonight on EPIX
The Los Angeles Kings will be part of a television show on Epix network leading up to the 2015 Stadium Series outdoor game.
Starting tonight Epix will air four episodes, one per week on Tuesday nights, leading up to the Kings and San Jose Sharks outdoor game at Levi’s Stadium (home of the San Francisco 49ers) in Santa Clara, California. The game is scheduled for February 21st at 7:00 p.m. PST.
Episodes of the show will be like HBO’s 24/7 Road to the Winter Classic series from years past, and Epix Road to the Winter Classic featuring the Chicago Blackhawks and the Washington Capitals from earlier this season.
The program has an all access pass to follow the teams and players in and around the rink leading up to the big game. It’s a chance to see some of your favorite Kings with an inside look at the locker rooms, game preparation and their day-to-day lives.

Tonight and on subsequent Tuesday’s, the show will air on Epix channel at 10:00 p.m. for both EST and PST.
If you don’t get the Epix channel, Kings fans can stream the episodes from the Epix facebook page, Epixhd.com/nhl, or from NHL.com.
For those fans that have the Epix app, the show will be available in all versions: Android, iOS, and gaming systems such as XBOX or PlayStation.
The series is set up so the first three episodes will cover the lead-up to the outdoor game between the Kings and Sharks. The fourth episode will feature highlights from the game and interviews with players before, during and after.
The 2015 Stadium Series game between the Kings and Sharks will be the second outdoor game for the Kings and the state of California. Last year the Kings were the home team when they played the Anaheim Ducks outside at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The rink had a beach volleyball court set up right next to it, so fans could play during intermissions.
It may have been an enjoyable experience for the Kings, but on the ice there wasn’t much fun to be had. L.A. lost the game to Anaheim 3-0. Hopefully this year the Kings can be better on the ice outdoors.
Get excited for the game by enjoying the show when it kicks of tonight!
