When you hear, “The Home of the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings” next season on your radio in Los Angeles, it will be on the Kings new flagship station, KABC Radio 790 AM. It was announced today via the Los Angeles Kings website, that the latest NHL champions will be broadcasting their games on a new radio home. The Kings and KABC have reached a multi-year deal that will have the station broadcast pre-season, regular season and playoff games along with special events on their station, Talk Radio 790.
As for the broadcasters, fear not Kings fans, long time announcers Nick Nickson and Daryl Evans will remain as the radio voices of the Kings, continuing to bring you the best coverage of your reigning Stanley Cup Champions.

Per the Kings website, specific details of the agreement will be announced in the coming days, which includes, “original digital content to help the team’s fans stay close to all the action”. What the means exactly is yet to be seen, but knowing the fan-friendly Kings, KABC has got themselves a victory in their own right as they will be broadcasting to a large and growing hockey-loving audience which will definitely increase their listenership.
