5. Gretzky’s 51-game point streak.
Gretzky opened the ’83-’84 season with a point in all of the Oilers’ first 51 games. Over the course of those games Gretzky notched 153 total points. When was Gretzky finally left off of a score sheet? In a game against the Kings actually. Maybe that was the seed that set this all in motion.
