The fourth-line forwards group for Hiller and the Kings that includes Lee, center Sammy Helenius, and winger Taylor Ward delivered an impactful performance offensively in the zone for the team yesterday vs. Edmonton. Hiller complimented the fourth-line forwards group for the Kings yesterday after the big shootout win over the Oilers on the road in Edmonton.

" I also thought that Sam Helenius’ line, you can talk about Lee scoring the goal, but Sam Helenius’ line, I thought they gave us real minutes. They played in the o-zone, they forechecked, Sam got caught a couple times against Draisaitl, playing d-zone for a good 30 seconds and did a great job. So I thought that line was really important for us tonight."
Jim Hiller

The depth and scoring support offensively in the zone that the Kings had from the AHL affiliate Ontario Reign in this past week really showed up when it mattered in the final two periods yesterday vs. Edmonton on the road. Lee scored the second goal of his career in the league in the NHL on a nice play in transition where he put the puck home while driving the net in an odd-man rush on 2-on-1 vs. Edmonton.

The second period goal in the middle frame from Lee helped the Kings get the game tied on the scoreboard and keep them in the game on the ice going into the second intermission and before clutch time in the final frame in the third period.

Even though Lee only played under eight minutes in time on the ice yesterday vs. Edmonton, he made the most of the time he had, scoring the puck in the offensive zone for the Kings and Hiller. Lee scored on the only high-danger scoring chance he had offensively for the Kings yesterday vs. Edmonton on the road (per Natural Stat Trick).
