The game's MVP on the ice for the Kings in the West in the Pacific Division in the three-goal win on the scoreboard over the Canucks on home ice was forward Adrian Kempe offensively. Kempe not only scored the game's first goal on the scoreboard to set the tone offensively in the zone for the Kings in the opening frame in the first period, but he also scored the eventual insurance goal in the middle frame in the second period late.

"The league is run by the big boys and you look at the best teams in the league, they all have stars and they all have guys that make plays at Big times. Right now, that line is doing it for us."

Had it not been for Kempe not scoring any points in this past game in the shootout win in extra time vs. the Nashville Predators in the West on Monday night (April 6), he would have points in the last seven consecutive games this past couple of weeks for the Kings this month in early April.

Even though the Kings didn't have any opportunities on special teams on the power play on the 5-on-4 man advantage yesterday on the ice vs. the Canucks in the Pacific Division, he remained scorching hot offensively for the team in the West.

Kempe has scored multiple goals on the scoreboard for the Kings in three of this past four games in the West for the Kings offensively. The Kings have picked up points in the last five consecutive games in the West on home ice this past couple of weeks this month in early April with Kempe playing so well offensively in the zone.
