2 studs, 1 dud from LA Kings clinching win over Seattle

A strong night from Quinton Byfield gave the LA Kings the push needed to secure a spot in the postseason in the West this regular season down the stretch vs. Seattle on the road early this week on Monday night.

Dud: Artemi Panarin, W

I thought the Kings got some big and timely saves defensively in the zone yesterday, and the team got the necessary confidence and impact offensively, scoring the puck to get the win on the scoreboard in the final frame in the third period vs. Seattle on the road in the Pacific Division.

The Kings are getting what they need from key players offensively, like Byfield, Kempe, and center captain Anze Kopitar in clutch time in the final frame in the third period in the Pacific Division. The Kings took advantage of a young goalie that was a rookie for the Kraken defensively yesterday in the West.

Forward Artemi Panarin didn't get as much playing time on the ice as usual for Smith and the Kings and the coaching staff on the ice yesterday in the Pacific Division. Panarin played a month-low of ust 16 minutes in time on the ice yesterday vs. the Kraken on the road.

If you include only even strength, Panarin only played under 15 minutes on the ice yesterday at 5-on-5 for the Kings and Smith.
