Manchester Monarchs Announce Schedule

Los Angeles Kings AHL affiliate the Manchester Monarchs announced their schedule for the 2014-2015 season on their website today.

Individual tickets will go on sale Monday, October 1st at 9:30 a.m. EST.  They can be purchased at manchastermonarchs.com or at the Verizon Wireless Arena Box Office at 555 Elm Street, Manchester, New Hampshire or at ticketmaster.com.

The Monarchs play a 76 game schedule between October 12th and April 19th.  Their first three games are on the road.  The season opener is Sunday, October 12th against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.  The Monarchs home opener is Friday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. against the Portland Pirates.

In the AHL teams only play against teams in the same conference during the regular season.  The Monarch’s will not play any of the AHL’s Western Conference teams.  Manchester will play all the teams in the Eastern Conference except the Syracuse Crunch.  Manchester’s games are divided amongst the divisions of the Eastern Conference as follows:

46 games in the Atlantic Division (the division they are part of).

14 games against the Northeast Division.

16 games against the East Division.

The Monarchs play an equal number of home-and-home games against each opponent.
