Potential L.A. Kings' Trade Targets As Deadline Approaches

It is no secret that much of what is ailing the L.A. Kings at the moment is a lack of scoring depth. After Anze Kopitar and Jeff Carter, there is a lack of pure finish on the roster. The Kings’ top offensive prospect, Tyler Toffoli (above) will fill that void eventually, but he is still finding his way and developing his all-around game so he can be a key in Darryl Sutter’s system.


So, in the short term, there are many options out there that Dean Lombardi will likely investigate over the next day or so as Wednesday’s 3pm EST deadline approaches.  The Kings are somewhat limited because they can currently add only a pro-rated $3.25 million or so in salary, but they could move bodies out as well to get below the threshold.
