Well that sucked. Despite the Kings controlling most of last night’s game against the Minnesota Wild they ended the night with a 2-1 shootout loss. The Kings outshot the Wild 37-15 but could not convert on countless opportunities through out the game. When the Kings did break through, the Wild answered and tied the game under three minutes later. The Kings let a point get away last night.

It was a hit and miss night for the Pacific Division with the Phoenix Coyotes and Anaheim Ducks both walking away with two point victories, the Vancouver Canucks and Kings both grabbing a point in shootout losses and the Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks ending the night empty handed with regulation losses.
