Well the end of the Kings road trip could have gone a lot better. The Kings fell behind early and were never able to catch up ultimately losing to the Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 3-1. It was quite the opposite affair for the Kings who allowed three goals in the first period of the game. Going into the game the King hadn’t allowed a first period goal in their previous 18 games.

Highlight Of The Night

I for one have always been one in support of the shootout. It allows players to show a little creativity and goalies to make prime time saves. This highlight from the Rangers’ shootout victory over the Flames last night is a great example of some of that creativity.
