Well, the Kings fell back into old habits yesterday. Nothing seemed to click especially on the power play where they went 0-5 on the night. The Kings seemed a step behind from the first puck drop, a great indicator of that was the goal the Lightning scored just 19 seconds into the game. From then on it was all Lightning. The only King tally came from Slava Voynov in the third period.
Aside from the Kings, the San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche continued their tear through the beginning of the season. Both teams grabbed their sixth win of the season, improving to 6-0 on the season. The Sharks are looking damn scary right now, just steam rolling teams with offensive power and solid defense. The Kings don’t play the Sharks until November 27th, so hopefully they have slowed by then.

Highlight Of The Night
Here is a great solo effort by Cam Atkinson, who called his own number and beat four Red Wings before coring the power play goal.
