The Kings are half way through their first extended road trip of the season and so far so good. The Kings are 2-0-0 on their current trip having beat the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers. Our boys have the day off before they play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday and finish the road trip in Nashville against the Predators on Thursday.

On a side note, during last night’s game Kings forward Justin Williams notched the 500th point of his career, a rebound goal in the slot that gave the Kings a 2-0 lead in the second period. Congrats sir. Also, Ben Scrivens turned away 27 shots for the shutout in his first career start as a King.

Highlight Of The Night

Daniel Carcillo grabbed his first goal as a Kings last night. Mike Richards really did all the work with a filthy no look pass and Carcillo just cashed the check. But hey, good for you Carcillo.
