The Kings and Avalanche met in Colorado last night, and needed extra time to find a winner. Ultimately the Avalanche walked away with the victory after Ryan O’Reilly scored the game winner just 45 seconds into the extra frame giving the Aves the 4-3 win. Justin Williams and Dwight King both found the back of the net.
Outside of the Kings game last night, Kings alumni Jonathan Bernier was injured during Thursdays Maple Leafs’s game. He did not report to practice yesterday due to the undisclosed injury. Bernier left the Kings and headed to Toronto with hopes of being the Leaf’s starting goalie. Well, this might be a significant speed bump in that endeavor.

Highlight Of The Night
This highlight stings a little because it is against our Kings. But here is O’Reilly’s game winner from last night. Pretty nice little spin-o-rama to beat Slava Voynov and the tender.
