1. Gretzky’s 2,857 regular season points.
Take a second for that to sink in. That is almost 3,000 points in a career, 3,000. He grabbed all those points in just 1,487 games over 20 seasons. To put this total in perspective for you, he recorded 1,963 assists in his career. That alone is more points than any point total for anyone to have ever played the game. I think it’s safe to say this record might be around for a while.
Oh, and lets not forget. Gretzky pasted Gordie Howe’s record in a Kings jersey playing against the Oilers.
