We mentioned a while ago how the Chicago Blackhawks were auctioning off some of the ice that the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup on. Of course that ice has melted and what people are basically bidding on was some glorified water. But hey, if you have the cash why not, and the proceeds go to charity so drop all the money you want. The rather interesting charity has continued in Chicago this time with Blackhawks forward, Andrew Shaw.
If you watched the Finals between the Blackhawks and Bruins or saw any of the celebration photos, you either saw Shaw take a Bruins shot to the face or saw Shaw popping bottles with a fresh set of stitches across his cheek (reference the photo above). Well, now for the right price you can own those stitches that held Shaw’s face together. Shaw will be auctioning off the stitches through Ebay.com. All of the proceeds will go to the Jimmy V. Foundation for Cancer Research. Those hockey players, always so giving. Even if it is in a weird way from time to time.

Highlight Of The Night
Since we mentioned Shaw’s injury earlier, we mine as well post the video for those that were living under a rock during the Final series of last season’s playoffs.
