There was another departure from the Kings organization yesterday. After seven years of working with the Kings, Ron Hextall has left the Kings for a position as the new assistant general manager and director of hockey operations of the Philadelphia Flyers. This is probably the first step for Hextall to become the new general manager of the Flyers all together. That could be sooner rather than later because we all know how good the current general manager in Philadelphia is doing.
So yet again, there is another connection between the Kings and the Flyers. Good luck to Hextall with Kings East.

Highlight Of The Night
It is very rare that I like goalies for reasons other than playing for the teams I follow most. But, Hextall is one of my all-time favorite goalies because of one thing, he was vicious. He was not afraid to come out of the crease and go after you if he didn’t agree with what was going on. We need more of that today.
