We have Los Angeles Kings news! Yesterday, the Kings agreed to a new two-year contract with defenseman Alec Martinez. However, with that promising news and Jake Muzzin being resigned earlier this week, the Kings’ blue line is getting a little crowded. Something that will have to be dealt with eventually. Also on the Willie Mitchell front, it is looking promising. Which only adds to the crowded blue line.

In the Mayors Manor interview below, Dean Lombardi mentions how he has been working everything around Mitchell’s salary cap hit this summer. So if something goes wrong and derails his progress and come back, Lombardi may have suffered a lot of headaches for nothing.

Highlight Of The Night

Is there anything better than Roy skating the puck to center ice and dangling Wayne Gretzky. While watching this take a minute and just embrace the fact that we have high-def television nowadays.
