Yesterday, there were five new members selected to be inducted into the Hockey Hall Of Fame. The Class Of 2013 includes, Scott Niedermayer, Chris Chelios, Brendan Shanahan, Fred Shero and women’s hockey legend Geraldine Heany. It was the first year of eligibility for both Nierdermayer and Chelios and the second year of eligibility for Shanahan.
Niedermayer, Chelios and Shanahan all eclipsed the 1,000 game marks in their career, both Chelios and Shanahan played over 1,500 games before they hung up the skates. How ever Nierdermayer won four Stanley Cups as player, while Shanahan and Chelios only lifted the Cup three times each. Like that is a bad thing?
We are currently running a little a game on Twitter and Facebook called LA Kings School. Go to either page, or comment below with a class that would be taught by a LA Kings player and use the hashtag #LAKingsSchool. The best will be tossed on the site on Thursday.

Highlight Of The Night
Nierdermayer will be getting recognized for plenty of things between now and when he gets inducted into the Hall. But this little ruckus he caused is always fun to point out.
