While the future of the Los Angeles Kings is in town for the team’s development camp, there was some news surrounding a former Kings player recently. Yesterday, former King, Joe Corvo agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Ottawa Senators and will play a 13th season next year. It will be a return to the Senators for Corvo, who played for the team the ’06-’07 and ’07-’08 seasons after leaving the Kings. In other news, the New York Rangers agreed to a six-year, $28.2 million contract extension with Ryan McDonagh. Meanwhile, the Montreal were barely able to get rid of Scott Gomez, I’m sure we all can see who won that deal.
Really grasping for news when you end up writing about Corvo, aren’t you?

Highlight Of The Night
Since McDonagh is probably riding pretty high right now because he just had a fat payday, so what better time to watch a video of him getting popped in a fight by the New Jersey Devils’ Adam Henrique.
