The Kings Select Hudson Fasching With The 118th Pick Of The 2013 Draft

Since the first round of the Draft the pace has really picked up and picks are flying out left and right. The Kings used their third pick of the 2013 NHL Draft to select Hudson Fasching of the U.S. National Development Program.

Fasching has spent two years with the USNDTP where he has scored 10 goals and recorded 33 points, his production did drop from his time with the U17s which is likely the main he reason for his drop down the rankings as the draft got closer.

Fasching was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Minnesota. He is a hulking power forward that stands 6 foot 3 and has committed to playing at the University of Minnesota next season. Like most of the today’s prospects, Fasching is on Twitter and you can follow him here.

Below is a video that Kings Vision put up after his being selected.

Make sure to follow Rink Royalty on Twitter and Facebook for more updates. Check back tomorrow for more coverage on Fasching and the rest of the Kings’ draft day action.
