While You Wait – Check Out Our Friends To The North

While you wait for a trade and/or Thursday’s Los Angeles Kings game, check out our friends to the North. They may not be able to spell but they’ve come up with a great idea for a charitable move. Please read below and check out the link to Gregor’s MS Bike Tour.

As you’re likely aware, the trade deadline is coming up in a little more than a week.  You may or may not also be aware that one of Edmonton’s star players Ales Hemsky is going to be dealt for what likely will amount to magic beans and a can of shaving cream.

My right hand man Grant (@realoilfan) has a great bet going on with Edmonton radio personality Jason Gregor.  See, if the Oilers are able to swing a first round pick out of the deal, Grant and I are going to make a donation to Gregor’s charity of choice, which happens to be Gregor’s MS Bike Tour.

Whether or not Grant wins this bet is moot, we’re both going to be making a donation to Gregor’s MS Bike Tour. Either way, you’ll be helping us help others for a good cause, and it won’t cost you a dime.
