Sad news from the LA Kings today. Tanner Raboin, who had a bone marrow registry drive at the Staples Center in his honor this weekend, died this morning.
Raboin, 19, was born with Chronic Granulomatous Disease, which impairs the immune system.
“Our organization extends its deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends,” the Kings said in a statement.
The Be The Match Foundation is still taking donations on Tanner’s behalf. Funds will go toward registering more marrow donors.
