Drew Doughty on the IR

It’s a blow for Kings fans, but just how big has yet to be determined. Drew Doughty has been placed on IR retroactively to October 21st. Theoretically, he can rejoin the team on Thursday, but obviously that is unlikely. Doughty is suffering from concussion symptoms, and has apparently suffered a bit of a set back. How long he will be out is still up in the air, as he has not been cleared to play. In the meantime, Jake Muzzin has been recalled to fill a spot on the roster, and potentially eat up some minutes in an upcoming game. Apparently Muzzin impressed some people while he was here.
