Los Angeles Kings Roster Cuts

The first cuts are here! The Kings have cut a significant number of players from the preseason roster, with most of them getting assigned to Manchester Monarchs. I’m not shocked by any of the moves, though I would have liked to see a few of the more talented youngsters (Kozun, Zatkoff, etc) stick around for a bit more training. That said, they may be better off practicing together down in Manchester with their sights set on another good run in the AHL playoffs.

Check out the full list of cuts below:

Assigned to Manchester:
Justin Azevedo, Robert Czarnik, Corey Elkins, Zach Harnden, Bud Holloway, Martin Jones, Dwight King, David Kolomatis, Brandon Kozun, David Meckler, Patrick Mullen, Jordan Nolan, Michael Pelech, Jeff Zatkoff

Assigned to Ontario:
Garrett Zemlak

Returned to junior teams:
Jean-Francois Berube, Nicolas Deslauriers, Tyler Toffoli, Jordan Weal, Linden Vey

Released from tryout:
Riley Brace, Samuel Groulx, Dylan King
