Up next is the Lady Byng Trophy, awarded to the player who exhibited outstanding sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability. Nominees this year include Pavel Datsyuk from Detroit, Brad Richards from Dallas, and Martin St. Louis from Tampa Bay.

And the winner is… Martin St. Louis.

Who cares? They’re all good players, but this trophy always seems kinda random. Frankly by now I’m just getting impatient to see if Doughty is able to put in a good showing.
